What happened in London (and previously in Madrid, New York and Washington) was obviously an act of hatred. What exactly do they hate and why? Why does killing innocent people who have nothing to do or say regarding world politics help their cause, if they have one? I hate feeling so helpless and I wish there was something I could do.
I'm in a pretty depressed mood and I have no pictures. I'll come back later to blog about my trivial felting adventures.

I know exactly what you mean.
depressing huh? The last few days when I look at my son I think, "what should I tell him in the future when these things happen? That they hate our free way of life? that they think we're evil?" Makes me wonder why we as a human race reproduce. :-(
I think they don't think of us as innocent, if it's Al Quaida we're talking about. I think they think of us all as corrupt and part of a world power that they hate, and thus we are all "free game." It's sad to say, but I wonder if it's the truth.
