Remember the laprobe? It's finished, and though it's been blocked, it doesn't LOOK blocked. The brown yarn sections slant to the right. Ugh. Not even cheap acrylic does that. I don't even have a picture because I'm soaking that thing before attempting to block again.

Is the brown yarn a single-ply yarn? Single-ply yarns twist when they're knit in st. st. You have to knit them in 2x2 ribbing.

I did not even look, but I don't know exactly what to look for in order to avoid this problem in the future, could you offer some help?
